‘This Is The End’ Opens To Impressive Box Office Figures

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg may have just come up with this season’s sleeper movie, and by that, I don’t mean a movie that makes you fall asleep because it’s bad. I mean ‘sleeper’ as in something initially unnoticed that suddenly gains attention. Because their latest movie, titled This Is The End, didn’t really strike off as a box office hit (for me, at least). From the trailers, it did appear pretty funny — OK, hilarious, but as comedy that will shatter the box office and even come up as number one in midweek? Come on!
