Pandora Buys South Dakota Radio Station

Internet radio giant Pandora has acquired Rapid City’s terrestrial radio KXMZ-FM (HITS 102.7), hoping that it will lower the broadcaster rates that it pays the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) for royalty fees, something their competitors like iHeartRadio has been taking advantage of for a long time.
