A Way with Words
is a podcast where author Martha Barnette and dictionary editor Grant
Barrett talk about common expressions, slang or colloquialisms, grammar,
word origins (etymology), dialects, old sayings (e.g. adage, idiom),
English usage, and pretty much anything that will help you in speaking
and writing well, because you know what they say, “It’s not what you say
but how you say it,” right? So if you’d like to expand your vocabulary,
improve your grammar, or just want to be a more eloquent speaker, then
