Optimize Your Site For Retina Display

The first tip Berger gave is what he considers the easiest and most time-saving way of adding Retina support is to create one image for Retina devices, and serve it to non-Retina devices as well. Usually, this is done by using Photoshop to downsample your images, but you can just let today’s modern browser like Google Chrome do the downsampling of the images for you: img tags or CSS background images.

Tea And Jeopardy Podcast

Tea and Jeopardy is a literary podcast hosted by Emma Newman in which she invites writers of fantasy, adventure, science fiction, and horror to a discussion about writing and geekery over a cup of tea. The premise of the show is that the interviews are taking place at different undisclosed locations of Emma’s lair that range from being an underground volcanic lair to a gigantic tree house. It is quite similar to Cartoon Network’s show Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, if I may do say so myself because of its surrealistic approach in which Emma conducts her interviews.

Release Dates For ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ 3 and 4 Already Set

Sony has just announced the release dates for the third AND fourth installment of The Amazing Spider-Man on Monday, which seems to be a bit of a bold move considering no one can really say for certain how The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is going to fair at the box office once it hits the theaters.
Sony must have a considerable amount of confidence in its writers’ capabilities to expect them to come up with a good storyline for the two other sequels. As for the dates, the third installment is set to hit theaters on June 10 2016, while the fourth follows through, two years later, on May 4, 2018.

Sales For George Orwell’s Book ‘1984’ Spike After NSA Leak

If there’s one particular book out there that anybody living in the US ought to be reading right now, it’d have to be 1984 by George Orwell. Because that book might just very well be their survival guide on how to live in today’s America, considering that it reflects what has been happening in the country, specifically about ‘Big Brother.’
I’m referring to the recent scandal involving the National Security Agency (NSA), when former US defense contractor Edward Snowden leaked classified information about the agency’s spy program.
